[The video is taken up by the face of an orange kitten who meows at the SFC after sniffing it a moment.]

Tomoe, get away from there you're going to- [Sigh] You already did.

[Sirius turns away from the motorbike he's working on and scoops up both kitten and SFC, sitting back on his haunches. The edge of the fountain can be seen in the background and the motorbike itself looks as if it's seen better days.]

Well..since this is on...this girl needs a new coat of paint, the bike, not the cat. I think I have it down to black, red, or silver; I'd thought about blue but it might just blend in that way.

Once this thing's back to running the way it's supposed to, I wouldn't mind offering riding lessons for anyone who wants them.

[Small smirk and he shuts the feed off.]

Despite all of that, Chitose's words were what bothered Ruca so much.

Ruca sighs. Chitose is right. He knows she's right, yet he would rather never admit it. Not to her, nor to anyone. He wants to believe that something can be changed. He even has an idea what to do, but still...

Chitose didn't want to believe him. She told him she couldn't believe in such a hopeful world.

After a few moments of staring into nothingness, Ruca takes his SFC and says:]}

The best part was waking up to guts and sparkling wonder all over you. He has a rather flat look on his face as he stares at the screen. ]

The longer he realizes that his chocobo and himself are covered in faerie guts, the longer he also is aware that his faerie just exploded. Right next to him. In plain sight. He even kind of saw it happen.

[There is an agitated Lombax on the screen today. He has dust and fairy guts all over his face. He was trying to get a closer look at it when it exploded. F-in fairies man.]

So this thing followed me around, never talk to me, never did anything, and the one day explode...in my face. Really?

What was the point of these things?! I've had malfunctioning synthenoids more helpful. Can anyone answer this question for me? Why did my fairy just explode? I would really like an answer. Did me staring at it engage it's self-destruct?

...And does anyone know how to get fairy guts out of fur?

[ Guess who has been a bit out-of-the-loop for the last week? This derp. She has been feeling a bit mopey, what with her homesickness reaching a climax of sorts. Um. Uh, this might be a strange question to ask, but...how do you deal with missing someone? Er, someones. I miss my partners and friends from home and it's been making me feel really lonely lately. It's weird, but I really miss the strange things they'd do. I thought it was weird at first, but I really do miss sleeping with Meme.

And I didn't know I'd miss her crawling into bed naked.

[Shortly after the violent deaths of the fairies, an SFC is abruptly turned on. It looks like it hit the floor of someone's room and managed to start the video feed. A little duck wearing a red pendant flaps into view.]

Quaa...

[The duck doesn't seem very happy. She also has fairy remains all over her which means she was nearby one when it...yeah. But whoever owns this room isn't making an appearance and there just happens to be a pretty good view of most of the apartment. Huh...]

[She pokes at something behind the SFC before looking at the screen with interest.]

Quack?

[And the duck gazes into the screen for a few seconds. If you have the capacity to think something is cute, odds are this is. Suddenly, she seems to be aware that others can see her and start flapping her wings frantically.]

QUACK! Qua quaa quaaack!!

[She starts poking her bill near the screen like she's trying to operate the buttons but it's not really working. Huh. What a weird little duck...]

[ooc: I have plans for her being "found" but feel free to take note of her existence on the network! Hopefully she'll show up more~]

[Mrs. Brisby had been turning that SFC on to make a post, again! Namely to apologize for some of the things she said, and maybe to sing everyone a lullaby. But what happens? That fairy explodes! And when you are a little mouse living in a little brick and your fairy isn't necessarily 'little' to scale down with you, that little firecracker pop is a little more traumatizing.

She's so caught off guard by the explosion, in fact, that she doesn't even shriek or scream - she simply gets exploded on. There's a few moments of wheels turning in her head, before she finally does scream in absolute terror (the guts look so much bigger on Mrs. Brisby!) and proceeds to faint.

The camera doesn't shut off, so a little while later, Mrs. Brisby comes to, grabs the SFC, and seems to crawl outside, shaking like a leaf.]

I-I'm going to be sick!

[If mice could turn green, Mrs. Brisby would be it from head to toe.]

[Heavy's face is pretty interesting right now, He is genuinely shocked, disturbed, and confused right now. The Red Fairy that had been here ever since he arrive just..exploded. Right in front of him, like it had been hit by a critical rocket. Except it hadn't. This isn't natural. Not at all.]

What. What is going on? Tiny fairy just blew up. Pieces everywhere.

I do not understand dis. Was fine seconds ago.

[Seriously Vatheon, what the fuck. He actually kinda liked the fairy. And now it's dead. And Heavy is not happy. He turns to the screen and frowns.]

Did dis happen to someone else?
