So I've spent all day putting together this wonderful picnic for my grandmother. She's quite ill, and I thought I'd bring her something nice.
[She frowns for a moment. Something's not right, but she can't put her finger on it.]
Is my grandmother here? She must be. I know the way to her cottage, through the woods.
[She shakes her head, as if to clear it.]
Right. Well. Things have been...very strange this week, and I just wanted to sort of...check in and make sure everyone is alright. I haven't posted here in quite awhile. My birthday was just a little over a week ago! Eighteen! It was absolutely wonderful, Karkat and Gamzee baked me this fabulous cake...
Anyway. I need to get going. I want to make it to my grandmother's and back before it starts to get dark. The woods are different at night. | |

| [Riddles? Rescuing honor students princesses? No thanks. It was quests and loot all the way for her. She had been running around quite a bit for the past few days because of that. Still, after doing those quests she had at least one very important question to ask.
She looked into the camera, looking quite different than she usually did; her skin was nearly white, and her lips were tinged blue, as if she was wearing lipstick. The hooded parka and braided hair was a bit of an oddity for her as well.]Has anyone felt weird after doing errands for the people around here lately? [innocently:] And...what does love feel like? [Oh dear. She was sinking into her role more than she seemed to realize.] | |

| [ When the video feed clicked on, only the slight outlook of the color red could be made out in the darkness. It was quiet at first, but after a moment the silence broke free to a moan- a yawn almost. It was tiny, and as eyes began to adjust to the dim lighting, something caught Yukiteru’s eye- ]
Good morning Yukki!
[Next to the bed but offscreen a voice was heard. It was clearly close, though, since it was very audible from the SFC on the side table.
The boy jolts up when hearing the voice, and as his vision becomes more clear, the image of “Yuno” causes a small gasp from the back of this throat. ]
Who... what are you-!?
Hm? What do you mean Yukki? It’s me, Yuno!
[ fjdbsg he’s scrambling out of bed now, the look of fright glued to his features.
His eyes couldn’t escape looking at one thing in particular- a thing that became apparent on the video feed as ‘Yuno’ moved closer and into the frame. She was a wolf, a pink wolf at that, and her smile aimed towards him was revealing a pair of large and sharp teeth to the boy. ]
Yuno? But- [ A beat, no she couldn’t be- ] - what big teeth you have!
O-Oh...that’s sort of rude to say, Yukki. I know I’m not as cute as usual but you don’t have to make fun of me...you on the other hand look good in that red hood you have on!
[ A blink. He’s slowly drawing his attention downward to- yup. Those weren’t his clothes. ] Eh!? What is this, I don’t remember putting this on-! Why do we look like this?
It appears we’re under another one of Vatheon’s curses! [She didn’t really say much else. Yuno sort of....forgot Yukki didn’t know about the curses oops.. ]
Vatheon’s... curses? [ What oh my gawd they had curses here his life. ] What exactly is that suppose to mean?
Oh! Right, you weren’t here for that, Yukki! [ For some reason she looked happy still even while talking about curses. She wasn’t even apparently phased by the fact she was a wolf now... ] These curses just happen randomly from what I was told, but they are always different. Last one that I experienced, it was causing people to...tell their secrets.
Mostly embarrassing ones, but I didn’t have much of those... [ Even if she did, she mostly only got responses from people that weren’t even helpful. Like a certain ugly purple-haired terrorist and a sorta-blind girl who was supposed to be dead... ]
[ Wow okay the curses still didn’t make a whole lot of sense, thus the unsure faces crybaby riding hood will give you. Though in the process of such, Yukki finally realizes that the SFC had been switched on somehow. Cue the sudden embarrassment as he quickly reaches over and shuts off the feed.
