| So I heard this wweird rumour an it's probably nothing a course.
[That bit he put in there for the benefit of the Head Nurse if she happens to be watching]
But it just got me thinkin' in general about Vvatheon an all. I'vve enjoyed bein' here, ovverall, it's better than wwhere I wwas an the life I left behind for a vvariety a reasons. If evver wwe wwere to be leavvin here, en masse, you knoww, like sent home an all. Wwhat about those a us wwho don't havve anywwhere to go to on account a bein' dead? Or our wworld bein' destroyed. Or, wwhatevver. Both. Anyone havve any thoughts about that? |

| ...such a crippling choice we've been given. Are we not going to fight? Is this truly how it all ends?
[There's something about the General's tone, however, that gives off more than he'd intended. It's... somewhat sad, keeping his determination but losing it all at the same time. What of the people he'd gotten close to? The Colonel and the Emperor? Even if they survive, they'll all part their separate ways...
Would they even remember him after the fact?
Was there any point to living one last time?]
What a waste.

| ...Evidently this was a poor time to go missing for three days. Would someone be so kind as to fill me in on what I missed? I'd have to be blind and deaf and dumb to not realize that something happened while I was away.
[It's unsettling to know that it happened to him twice now, but perhaps even more unsettling was where he reappeared. It's difficult to tell from his surroundings given that his own face is barely illuminated by the backlight to his SFC, but he ended up deep down in the caves where the old church once stood.
He's done well to avoid it in the past, so frankly he's a bit, er... lost. It's nothing like the tunnels under Amestris, that's for damn sure.]
Granted at this point I may as well be blind here... Which way is out?
