| Would anyone happen to know if I can acquire a gun here? If anything were to happen during a curse where I was deprived of my alchemy, it'd be better to have something to defend myself with. I'd also like to teach Selim how to use one in the event that something happens to me or I'm unable to protect him in a dangerous situation whether it be from a fellow foreigner or Vatheon itself.
Of course it goes without saying that if a foreigner attempts to harm the child they'll be dealing with me, regardless of the consequences put in place by those in charge of the city. | |

| Attention everyone~
I have a question! Is there any sort of pattern to when people arrive? I have a little something I'd like to do for the new arrivals but I don't know that the people would appreciate me leaving everything set up for a whole month. I'm not sure why they wouldn't though..it will be colorful and cheerful and fun!
If anyone knows the answer, please let me know! I have some big preparations to work on. | |

| [The video feed comes on, showing a bleary, teenage face caught in the middle of a yawn. Face already half-buried in a pillow, the most immediately distinguishing feature to be seen is a serious case of bedhead, brown hair sticking wildly every which way. It's almost a whole minute before Lloyd seems to become aware enough to realize the SFC is on. Even then he just stares at it sleepily.
Until something on the screen registers. Eyes widening, he jerks a hand up to reach for the SFC.]

| The quiet is nice everyonce in a while, but bloody hell I'm bored! Not even the animal escape was terribly exciting. I can only make so many things before I go absolutely batty.

| [ OMG OMG OMG you guys! THE SFC IS RECORDING! AAAAAAAAAAAAAA -- ... ahem. It's cooking with Sophie today, apparently. She's talked about crablettes, but that's not what's on the menu. Actually, it appears to be cake - and with her is none other than her beloved not!mom, Cheria. Sophie is even wearing a cute little apron with the words, "Kiss the Cook" across the front. She's also carrying another apron for Cheria. This will become important in a moment. ]
Cheria and I are going to make cakes today, so we can share with everyone who wants one.
[ Happy Happy. A-although Sophie, do you not realize how many cakes that would be ._.a ]
Cheria says it can be messy to make a cake, so I have to wear this over my clothes. I don't know why you have to kiss a cook though. Does that happen a lot?
[ Because do not want. She turns to Cheria after a moment, holding up a blue apron. ]

We're going to make cakes with chocolate, and cakes with apples, and cakes with crabs and fish. Mithos, do you want one too?

Hi, everyone! I'm sure some of you already know, but that Thanksgiving Holiday is coming up again! I know there are a lot of people here who already have plans, but I got to thinking, and, well ... I know there are some people here who don't really have anywhere to go for the holidays.
So! Who doesn't have anywhere to go? Or, who doesn't have any plans already?
I was thinking maybe those of us who want to can set up a Thanksgiving potluck somewhere in the city, so that people who don't exactly have a place to go and want to celebrate their holiday with somebody can still come by, have some food, socialize with people ... that sort of thing. It's never fun to be alone on a holiday that's all about togetherness, after all.
That said ... any takers? Does anybody like this idea at all? If we all work together on the food and festivities, I think we could really make the holiday special for everybody!
